She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Walter E. Sistrunk and Marian Godwin Sistrunk; her brothers, Dr. Michael Sistrunk and Dr. David Sistrunk; her husband Dean Rimer; her daughter Adrienne Adele Rimer; and her in-laws, Wendell and Faye Rimer.
She is survived by: her daughter Deanna Rimer Collins (Troy); her grandchildren, Trey Collins (Macy) and Ava Collins; her siblings, Carlos Sistrunk, Walter Sistrunk (Carolyn) and Brenda Landry (Cameron); and her sisters-in-law, Marianna Sistrunk, Nancy Sistrunk and Melva Rimer Bailey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
