He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Jackson Broxson, Sr. and Dorothy Beaman Broxson; his sisters, Billie Francis Harmon, Doris Davis, Julia Matthis and Patsy Dickerson; his son Michael Broxson; his grandson Nathan Alexander Broxson; and his nephew Keith Franklin.
He is survived by: his son Virgil J. Broxson (Kary); his stepdaughters, Jessica Pochon (Justin) and Nichole Ford (Steven Tyrone); his grandchildren, Merida Broxson, Willow Broxson, Coda Kinney, Sanaa Rocco, Ethan, Zander Pochon and Madison Broxson; the mother of his child Susan Haney Cronin; his siblings, Jesse Broxson and Ocie Bell Keener; his nephew Nickolas Keener; and his niece Christy Gurgainers (Richard). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
