He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Lanelle Fore; his daughter Karen Fore Rachal; his granddaughter Heather Fore Cunningham; his parents, Carolyn Gulsby Fore Nunn and Nelson Irvin Fore; and his siblings, Thomas Eugene Fore and Barbara Ann Fore Braswell.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Leroy Fore (Paula), Robert Mitchell Fore, Rolland Alan Fore (Cheryl), Nelson Leroy "Lee" Fore, Jr. (Michelle), Susan Kay Collins (Chris) and Brian Fore (Christina); his grandchildren, Steven Kelly (Misty), Leroy Christopher "Lee" Fore (Paige), Corey Fore (Nicole), Vickie Mallette, Robert Mallette (Tiffany), Channing Fore, Amber Fore, Jessica Bresher (Daniel), Kaleigh Roberts (Hayden), Madison Collins, Brayden Fore, Caleb Fore and Parker Fore; and his siblings, Dusty Fore (Marsha), Choan Daughdrill (Jimmy), Trey Fore (Jill) and Mark Nunn (Kathy). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a tree be planted in Leroy's memory.
