He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Jimmerson and Earlie B. Jimmerson; his former life partner Ada Marie Jimmerson; his sister Clara Jimmerson-Penton; and his nieces and nephews, Marshay Sylvester, Michaela Scott, Nya Jimmerson and Michael Scott, Sr..

He is survived by : his wife Annie Bettes Jimmerson; his son Grover McWilliams (Peggy); his granddaughter Lisa McWilliams; his great grandchildren, Jaylee, Jayden and Jeneva Seymour; his siblings, Earnest Jimmerson, Kenneth Jimmerson (Michelle), Minnie Collier, Annie (Joseph Dorsey, Sr), Flora Moore and Debra Montgomery (Curles); his brother-in-law Arthur "A. C." Penton; his children, Deborah Fagan, Cynthia Wright, Marsha Johnson, Phyllis Seawright (Bobbie Johnson), Norman Seawright Jr. (Mary), Tina Seawright and Toni Seawright; and his grandchild Tricie Seawright. He is also survived by 35 nieces/nephews, 83 great nieces/nephews, and countless loving cousins.
