With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paula Hyatt Newell (Moss Point, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Hyatt and Houston Hyatt; her brother Rodger Hyatt; and her nephew Chad Coleman. She is survived by: her husband David Newell; her sons, Kurt Brooks (Angela) and Corey Brooks; her grandchildren, Paige Rockwell (Mason), Kelsey Brooks (Jason), Jayden Brooks, Ashlyn Brooks and Micah Brooks; her great grandchildren, Hendrix, Jaxton Moss and Maci Rockwell; and her siblings, Barbara Patrick, Deborah Rhodes (Leslie), Sandra Coleman (Harold) and George Hyatt (Michelle).
