She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilson Holder, Jr. and Willie Mary Moore Holder; and her siblings, Diane Holder Smith, Samuel Wilson "Sammy" Holder and William Thomas "Tommy" Holder.
She is survived by: her son Wilson Eugene Pierce (Sheryl Tasselin Pierce); and her grandchildren, Emerson K. Pierce, Henley B. Pierce, Morgan W. Pierce and Mathis H. Pierce. She is also survived by other family members and friends that Sara considered as her family.
