It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Synthia Addison of Moss Point, Mississippi, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Prince Addison, Sr. and Maggie Addison; her in-laws, Charles and Clara Bell Doby; and her brothers-in-law, Charles Nelson and Thaddis Doby.
She is survived by: her husband Walter "Walt" Doby; her sons, Leterrance, Cortney Addison, Sr., Marcus Doby, Sr., Tavaris Payton and Jordan Turnipseed; her grandchildren, Leterrance, Jr., Jahiem, Markia, Aziyah, Trinsten, Marcus, Jr., Asher and Tiana; her great grandchildren, Chance, Kylie and Amira; her siblings, Joann Jefferson of Moss Point, MS, Gloria Addiosn of Pascagoula, MS, Dorothy Addison of Moss Point, MS, Prince Addison, Jr. of Moss Point, MS and Leroy (Gloria); her aunt Mary Hudson of Los Angeles, CA; her siblings-in-law, Sonja Davis of Moss Point, MS and Larry Doby; her friends, Patrice Hyde-Long, Clarissa McCann, Muriel Bunch-Jones and Corriene North; her sister Gloria Addison; her daughter-in-law Cortney Addison; her siblings' children, DeConnie Jefferson and Anthony Green; and her great-nephew Terrance Nathan, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
