She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Duckworth; her brother Kenneth Duckworth; her father-in-law Earnest Poindexter; and her sister-in-law Erica LeFlore. She is survived by: her mother Lenora Jefferson; her husband Edward Terrell Poindexter; her children, Meka Baker (Leland) and Jayla Poindexter; her grandchildren, Lennox Rose Baker, Maxtyn Sage Baker, Xander Terrell Baker and Taronta Gines III; her mother-in-law Rosie Poindexter; her siblings, Jacqueline Blunt (Michael), Mark Duckworth (ReQwal), Keven Duckworth (Monae), William Duckworth (LaToya), La'Wonica Jefferson and Cassandra Jefferson; her in-laws, Robert Poindexter (Samantha), Carolyn Stallworth (Michael), Valeriah Holmon (Perry), Wendy Poindexter and Carla Guy (Juan); and her nieces and nephews, Y'Eisha Duckworth and Prince Drummond. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
