He is survived by: his siblings, Johnny Rankins, Karen Gary (Willie Frank), Willie Mae Kirkland and Linda Kirkland; his caregiver Mary Abrams; his grandchildren, JaNautica Martin, Triston Carter Martin and Kaiden Martin; his great grandchild Symphony Carter; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany Chambers (Ollie), Tracy Chambers, Wendy Abrams, Robert Abrams, Marcus Triplett and Steve Abrams; and his close friends, Mark Richardson, Marilyn, Greg Vaxter, Gerald Abrams and Robert Abrams. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
