She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Boyd and Hewitt Boyd; her daughter Sheree Boyd Rand; and her sister Peggy Boyd. She is survived by: her husband James T. Smith; her siblings, Anna Boyd Simmons (Bernie Simmons), Billy Boyd and David Boyd; her children, Jacquelyn S. Boyd Bowman (John Bowman) and James Ray Boyd Jr. (Sheila); and her stepdaughters, Heather Smith Pastorek and Tammie Smith. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
