James Edward King Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edward King of Mount Olive, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Faye Jordan King; his parents, Roy King and Alma McLeod King; and his siblings, Mack King, Don King, Jerry King and Barbara King Roberts.
He is survived by: his sons, James Keith King (Christy) of Magee and John Kelvin King (Cheryl) of Mount Olive; his sister Mary King Burnham of Collins; his grandchildren, Tyler King (Caitlyn) of Oxford, Christin Curlee (Kyle) of Magee, Megan Clark (Nate) of Oxford and Kelsie King; and his great grandchildren, Blake Curlee, Oliver Clark and Connor Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive (305 Main St, Mt Olive, MS 39119). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive City Cemetery (211 Jaynesville Rd, Mt Olive, MS 39119).
