With sadness, we share the passing of Joshua Paul Kodya of Mount Olive, Mississippi. Joshua, born on January 22, 1982, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Joshua for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his grandson Waylon Horton. He is survived by: his parents, Jane Clark Kodya of Montgomery, Alabama and Robert Kodya, Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama; his daughter Christine Kodya of Enterprise, Alabama; his stepson Cody Shane Hines; and his brothers, Christopher Scott Kodya (Joanie) of Murfreesboro and Kevin Andrew Kodya (Jennifer) of Prattville, Alabama. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (3202 US 49, Collins, MS 39428). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
