It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kambrie Addison Claire Castillo of Mount Olive, Mississippi, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her friends, Devon Gage Wilson and Brayden Brock Saulters. She is survived by: her parents, Marbin Castillo of Mobile and Kristian Caves Castillo of Mount Olive; her boyfriend Kaden McKinley of Taylorville; her siblings, Alex Castillo (Katlin) of Mount Olive, Phillip Hernandez of Mount Olive, Abrianna Castillo of Mount Olive and Natalie Castillo of Mobile, Alabama; her grandparents, Kimberly Caves of Mount Olive, Harold Caves of Mount Olive, Jose'Alexis Castillo of Panama and Aminta Gonzalez Concepcion of Costa Rica; her great-grandparents, Jose'Delacruz Castillo of Costa Rica and Gala Rosa Guerra of Costa Rica; her aunt Heather Caves of Mount Olive; her uncles, Kevin Caves of Mount Olive and Jonah Caves of Mount Olive; her niece Ailani Castillo of Mount Olive; her nephew Christian Warren of Mount Olive; and her pet Hercules. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (795 MS-532, Mt Olive, MS 39119). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (795 MS-532, Mt Olive, MS 39119).
