She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Payne and Della Motes Payne; her sons, Carl and Richard Palmer; and her siblings, Mamie Hill, Irene Maxey, Jean Hall and Charles Richard Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Palmer and Wilma Cobb (Cary). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, as well as to her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
