She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wilson Hawes, Jr. and Clara Roberts Hawes; and her brother Edward Hawes. She is survived by: her husband Mac Reed; her stepson Adam Reed (Virginia) of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Perry Hawes of Natchez, MS and Vera Hawes of Natchez, MS; and her pet Annie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Coach Edwin A. Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund at Delta State University, in Cleveland, MS.
