Carolyn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carolyn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carolyn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Alton Smith and Dorothy Marie Morris Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Tamba Eichmann (Lane) and Monica Miller (Michael); her husband Alvin Doughty; and her sisters, Pat Doughty (Roy) and Dorothy Chappelle (Leo). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hannah's Heart of Vidalia, DCS Baseball Club, DCS PTO, or Gideon Bibles in Carolyn's memory.
