He is survived by: his wife Kathy Stefka Middleton; his children, Edward Todd Middleton (Teresa Hammerstrom Middleton) of Brandon, Mississippi, Amanda Middleton Parish (James Virgil Parish) of Brandon, Mississippi, Jennifer Middleton Payne (David Norman Payne) of Plano, Texas and Charles Hunter Middleton (Sarah Sandel Middleton) of Gulfport, Mississippi.; the mother of his children Julie Middleton Guenther; his stepson Bruce T. Massey, Jr. (Katie Massey) of Oxford, Mississippi; his brother Sammy Lee Middleton (Aileen Serio Middleton) of Natchez, Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Parker Middleton Berg, Charles Hayden Middleton, Lauren Haley McDaniel, Taylor Joseph Middleton, Caroline Parker Armstrong, Addison Elizabeth Middleton, Charles Finley Middleton, Campbell Lauren Payne, Molly Middleton Payne, Thomas Rexford Massey and Smith Peyton Massey.
