He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Shaw and Richard Bacon; his siblings, Leon Minor and Estelle Mock; and his daughter Janice Bacon-Green.
He is survived by: his children, LaVan Weir, Troy Bacon, Jeffrey Jones (Shelia), Tyrus Bacon (Senait) and Donna Bacon-Ivory (George); and his siblings, Charles Bacon (Daisy), Dora O'Neal, Carlotta of Washington, Rosie Lee Stewart, Willie Mae Robinson, Alma Lee of Washington and Camille Felton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
