With sadness, we share the passing of Diana May Ewing Nutter of Natchez, Mississippi, born on November 1, 1938. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Coffer Ewing and Presley Kittredge Ewing, Jr.; her husband James Bertrand Nutter; her sister JoAnn Ewing Fontenot; her half-brother Presley Kittredge Ewing III; and her granddaughter Anna Titherington Nutter.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley Ewing Nutter Junkin (John Ward Junkin) of Natchez and Charles Christopher Nutter, Sr. (Kathryn Leigh Matheny); her stepchildren, James Wallace Nutter (Lucy Puryear Nutter) of Maine and Holly Davies Nutter Winslow (E. Ray Winslow) of Clayton; her grandsons, Jonathan Kole Junkin (Hannah Gail Cook), John Gabriel Nutter (Rachel Lynn Drabick), James Paxton Junkin of Natchez and Charles Christopher Nutter, Jr. (Grace Beckham) of Madison; her great grandchildren, Gemma Kole Junkin of Natchez and Jane Katherine Junkin of Natchez; and her siblings, Robert Coffer Ewing of Lake St and Fairfax Finley Ewing of Ridgeland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (305 S Commerce St, Natchez, MS 39120).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Natchez City Cemetery, or other causes as you feel led.
