Hollis Venable; her sons, Trey Whitman (Sarah) of Monroe, LA, Hollis M. Venable (Lana) of Baton Rouge, LA and Carl E. Venable (Ashley) of Madison, MS; her siblings, Pamela Wood (Gary) of Natchez, MS, Dewitt Carpenter (Theresa) of Jonesville, LA and Denise Campbell (Dennis) of Maumelle, AR.; her grandchildren, Kate, Lane Whitman, Evan, Elise, Garrett Venable, Isabelle Venable Beene (Ethan), Caroline and Carly Venable; and her great grandchild Thomas Venable Beene.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Basilica (105 S Union St, Natchez, MS 39121).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Kay's memory may make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
