He was predeceased by: his siblings, David Nichols Heard and Elizabeth Milling Heard. He is survived by: his wife Linda Clinton Heard; his children, Bill Heard (Leigh Anne), Clinton Heard (Jennifer) and Elizabeth Heard Suttle (Tommy); his grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah Beth, Drew, Meredith, Elisa Suttle, Nathan, Emmy, Clara, Cole, Hayden, Harrison and Carter Heard; his sister-in-law Judy Wentworth Heard; and his sibling's children, David Heard, Chris Heard and Sarah Heard Stowers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 130 Homochitto Street, Natchez, MS 39120, or to a charity of choice.
