He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Whitehead; and his parents, Luther Whitehead and Addie Whitehead. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Allen Whitehead, Jr. (Martha) of Lake Charles, Patricia Martin of Natchez, Denise Smith of Natchez and Tracey Whitehead (Cindy) of Natchez, Mississippi; and his sister Billie Caraway of Natchez, MS. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
