She is survived by: her father James Merridith, Jr. (Rose); her son Raphael Shivers (Fredreuna); her granddaughter Ra'lunniea; her brothers, Broderick Merridith, Timothy Merridith (Natalie), Michael Blackwell (Nicole) and Rashad Merridith (Davida); her close friend Lazenda Abraham; and her daughter Kay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
