We are sad to announce that, on October 12, 2025, at the age of 72, John Lewis Tyler (Natchez, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Tyler, and Rev. Juanita Tyler, Sr.; and his siblings, Arnedia Johnson, Cleo, Edward, Sylvester and Donald Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Flora J. Tyler; his children, Jonathan L. Tyler (Twanna), Temika Davis (Louis) and LaTanya Cook (Jonathan); and his siblings, Alfred Tyler, Leroy Tyler, Napoleon Tyler, Larry Tyler and Almeta Tyler (Shahara Tyler). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
