She was predeceased by: her parents, Vertis Matthews and Clara Matthews; her grandparents, Joshua, Charity Matthews, Grover and Donnie Myers; her brother Johnny Matthews; and her grandson Alan Eldridge.
She is survived by: her husband Herman; her children, Janis Holder (Rodney) and Rusty Eldridge (Mary); her grandchildren, Stephanie Wallace (David), Mallory Eldridge, Adam Eldridge (Stephanie) and Curtis Holder (Madison); her great grandchildren, Jordan Coleman (Trinity), Matt Petty (Geri), Blakely Holder, Hudson Holder, Hollis Holder, Cady Eldridge and Kaden Wallace; her great great grandchildren, Kira Coleman and Mattison Petty; and her siblings, Joe Matthews and Geraldine Therrell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Natchez Adams County Humane Society.
