He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Carl Vance, Sr. and Margurite C. Vance Roth; his wife Joan Vance; his son Bryan R. Byrne, Sr.; his sons-in-law, Butch Sober and Terry McIntire; and his brother-in-law James Minor.
He is survived by: his children, John P. Byrne (Charolette), Karen Burgess (Mike), Brenda Rasco (Chuck), Debra Vance Sober and Laurie Vance McIntire; his grandchildren, Jack, Mary Kate Byrne, Bryan Edwin Byrne, Jr., Christopher, Emily Rasco, Cory and Allison Sober; his sister Elizabeth Vance Minor; and his brother-in-law Lewis J. Vance. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousin and friends.
