It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Curry of Natchez, Mississippi, born in Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Curry; her parents, Oliver Francis Brandenburg, Sr. and Audrey Elaine Corley Brandenburg; her children, Patricia "Red" Barnes and Paul Randall Barnes; her grandchildren, Jason Carter, David Bolt and Katie Barnes; and her siblings, Audrey Ann Stewart, William H. Brandenburg, Oliver Francis Brandenburg, Jr. and Benny Roy Brandenburg.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Barnes (Barabara) of Natchez, MS, Annie Barnes Welch (Brad), Barabara Long (Boogie) of Natchez, MS, Jennifer "JJ" Williams of Vidalia, LA and Beverly Nations of Vidalia, LA; her grandchildren, Brandi Welch, Tim Woodall, Josh Barnes, Justin Barnes, Krisi, Bradley Welch, Boog Long and Krystal; and her close friend Della Lomine.
