With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy McNeely of Natchez, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peggy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Reed Sober and Lessie Lea Wilmore; her daughter Peggy Lea McNeely; and her siblings, Otha Bryant Sober and Gwendolyn Sober Pennington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Crista Ray McNeely Young (Henry Thomas Young) of Ruston, LA and Lyda McNeely Jordan (Charles Jordan) of Natchez, MS; and her grandchildren, Thomas Young, Michael Young, Kenneth Jordan, Bankston Jordan, Sarah Young Nolan and Margaret McNeely Jordan.
