He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Rushing and Ollie Price Rushing. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann; his children, Pam Rymer (Leland), Karen Jones (Greg), Rhonda Smith (Ricky) and Ron Rushing (Kappi); his brother-in-law Jack Lofton of Natchez; his siblings, Velma Cowart (Sis), Margie Rushing and L. C. Rushing, Jr. (Sonny); and his sister-in-law Bobbie Rushing. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
