She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Jackson Smith and Charlie Jones; her son Terrence Lemond Smith; her siblings, Emma Ware Scott and James Smith; and her grandparents, Carrie Jackson and Bill Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Vashion Grinell; her sister Irma Smith Burston; and her sister-in-law Shirley Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
