With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Floyd Berry (Natchez, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Mae Floyd and Walter Floyd, Sr.; her husband James H. Berry, Sr.; her grandparents, Deila Malone, James Malone, Hattie and Fred Floyd; her brothers, Walter Floyd, Jr. and Lawrence Floyd; and her niece LaRhonda R. Ward.
She is survived by: her children, James H. Berry, Jr., Dwight A. Berry (Angela) and Tangela B. Banks (Rickey); her goddaughter Tremia Gooden; and her sister Dorothy "Velma" Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
