He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Engbarth Burkley and Ruth Marie Miller; and his stepson Paul Jared Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gamberi Burkley; his son Brian Miller Burkley (Natalie); his grandchildren, Marlee and Livy Burkley; his daughter Hannah Burkley Provance (Ryan); his grandchildren, Wade and Clara Provance; his stepdaughter Julia Frederick Novarini (Andrew); his stepgrandchild Capri Novarini; his stepdaughter Joanna Frederick DeRosia (Chris); and his stepgranddaughter Ruby June.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Basilica. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
