We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Zelma R. Kennon (Natchez, Mississippi), born in Magee, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Zelma leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Atha and Vida Elizabeth Glisson Blackwell; her sisters, Barbara Middleton (Frank) and Betty Lou Cook; and her daughter-in-law Diane Yelverton Kennon.

She is survived by: her husband William Kennon (Bill); and her sons, William Lawrence Kennon of Natchez, MS, Robert Harold (Hal) and Ronald Dale Kennon (Melissa) of Flowood, MS. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to New Covenant Presbyterian Church, Natchez Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
