We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 99, Mildred Lucille Dickson Friend (Nesbit, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, L. M. (LaDelle Ingram Dickson) and Southern; her husband Charles Friend; and her brothers, Joe Dickson and Pete Dickson.

She is survived by: her son Jack Lancaster; her grandchildren, Lara Brown and Eric Lancaster; and her great grandchildren, Kenna Brown, Peyton Brown, Leah Lancaster, Vince Lancaster and Jackson Lancaster.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hinds Chapel Cemetery (4866 Nesbit Rd, Nesbit, MS 38651).

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Mildred's life by planting a tree or making a contribution to a charity of your choice.
