We bid farewell to Monte Anthony Morgan of Nesbit, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Lloyd Morgan and Mary Etta Johnson Morgan; his son Monte A. Morgan, II; and his brothers, Robert Morgan and Alvin Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hay Morgan; his daughter Sherri Watson (Gene); and his grandchildren, Brooks Spradling, Marcus Spradling, Derek Spradling, Blake Morgan and Lindsey Watson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brantley Funeral Home (6875 Cockrum Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the New Bethlehem Church Cemetery (3877 Church Rd W, Horn Lake, MS 38637).
