He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Alexander Smith and Minnie Pearl Smith (Powell). He is survived by: his wife Joann Smith (Burleson) of Nettleton; his children, Robert Smith (Deanna) of Nettleton, Patrica Underwood of Nettleton and Debra Hester (Richard) of Nettleton; his granddaughters, Tina Hester, Gina Bishop (Luke), Lisa Edwards (TJ) and Savannah Smith; and his great grandchildren, Katlin, Madelyn Hester, John Luke and Logan Bishop.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton With (125 Buchanan Ave, Nettleton, MS 38858). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
