He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Whitlock and Louise Roberts Whitlock; and his siblings, Jean Young and Don Whitlock. He is survived by: his wife Annette Whitlock.
His contributions to the church and widespread revivals extended beyond traditional preaching, as he was also passionate about television ministry on the Fulton and Tupelo stations, reaching audiences far and wide.
