She was predeceased by: her parents, Romie Kennedy and Dovie Stevens Kennedy; and her siblings, Herman Bailey, Doris Knight, R. P. Kennedy Jr., Prentice Kennedy, Jimmy Dale Kennedy, Leroy Kennedy, Frances Sanders, Novie Kemp, Eloise Johnson, Gladys Gahagen and Lorene Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Horne of Madison, MS and Angie Mills (Hal) of Carolina Community; her grandsons, Nicholas Horne, Justin Mills (Tessa) and Brian Mills (Brook); her great grandchildren, Brilee, Kaylee, Benton, Owen and Adalynn Mills; her sister-in-law Clara Kennedy; her nieces and nephews, Janice, Kenny, Danny, Melinda and Darlene Horne; her grandchildren, Jack Davis and Bella Davis; her niece Darnell Hughes (John); and her close friend Pam Barnett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial (125 Buchanan Ave, Nettleton, MS 38858). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
