It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Koon (New Albany, Mississippi), who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jackson Koon and Jodie Hicks Koon; his wife Carlyon Green Koon; and his siblings, Brenda Joyce Koon, Janie Koon Gilley, Billy Koon, Gilbert Koon and David Koon.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Koon (Renae) and Lori Koon Edge (Benjy); his grandchildren, Bailey Bonduris (William), Lauren Whitten (Matt), Zack Koon (Grace), Riley Davis (Peyton) and Connor Edge; and his brothers, Milton Koon (Diane), Larry Koon (Brenda) and Randall Koon (Connie). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
