He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Luther Yager and Jackie Baugham Yager McNeely; and his brothers, Larry and Charles Edward Yager. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Liccardi Yager; his children, Billy Yager, Lorie Keener (Clay) and Debi Bell (Eric); his siblings, Melvin Yager (Teresa), Bo Yager, Randy Yager (Diane), Kevin Yager, Mary Kathryn Moore, Kathy Heathcock and Corrine Nowlin; his grandchildren, Tosha Graham, Abby Edwards, Mason Keener and Bo Keener; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Liccardi (Nancy) and Mike Liccardi (Bonnie). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care (608 W Bankhead St, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
