He was predeceased by : his sons, James (Mossie Churchill Hancock) and Jay Scott Hancock; and his siblings, Jean Wood, Janice Davis, James Hancock (Carolyn) of Warrenton, MO and Freddie Hancock.
He is survived by : his wife Darlene Goolsby Hancock; his children, Bonnie Hancock (Kathy) of Guntown, Tracie Key (Jimi) of New Albany and Robert Hancock (Jennifer) of New Albany; his siblings, Betty Fitch of Holy Springs, Bill Hancock (Pat) of Myrtle and Gilbert Hancock (Sue) of Warrenton, MO; and his grandchildren, Jacob Hancock, Landon Hancock, Kaitlyn Decanter, Brandon Decanter, James Marc Key, Charles Dabney and Jason Watson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral Email. A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care (608 West Bankhead Street At The Intersection Of, Hwy 30 W, New Albany, MS 38652).
