He was predeceased by : his parents, George Vardaman and Mary Therese Cox Roberson; his wife Julia Scoggins Roberson; and his brothers, Ned and Ted Roberson.
He is survived by : his sons, Ernie Rea (Jennifer), Jonathan Rea (Danielle) and Robert Roberson; and his siblings, Mary Bishop Poole, Fay Headrick and Fred Roberson. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
