She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Herman and Modie Richardson Benjamin; her son Joel Gaines (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Rosemary Gaines; her grandchildren, Brock, Hunter, Spencer Gaines, Betsy Wages (Mason) and Sarah Cagle (Sam); her great grandchild Atticus Wages (Vicki Childress); her sisters, Nellie Witt, Jo Crawford (Jerry) and Martha Bullock; her sister-in-law Bobbi Benjamin; and her husband Maxie Gaines.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Methodist Church (113 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
