She is survived by: her mother Bettye Powell Thornton; her husband Rick Matthews; her children, Crystal Johnson (Bubba) of Sommerville, TN, Josh Matthews (Amanda) of Evansville, IN, Shannon Matthews (Wendy) of Milan, TN, Mike Matthews of New Albany, MS., Justin Kidd (Nikki) of New Albany, MS. and Amber Matthews of New Albany, MS.; and her sister Tamsie West (Curtis) of New Albany. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and six nieces and nephews.
