James Criddle Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Criddle Sr. of New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James "Josh" Criddle and Dorothy O. C. Newby Criddle; and his brothers, John Criddle and J. L. Criddle. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Forester Criddle of New Albany; his children, Lea Ann Armstrong (Richie) of Aberdeen, Rob Criddle (Celia) of New Albany and Ryan Criddle (Bellena) of Wren, MS; his siblings, Ella Mae Scruggs (Thomas) of Palmetto and Frankie Criddle of Oklahoma City; his sister-in-law Kay Gordon (Greg) of Palmetto; and his grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Carter Armstrong, Ashlan Criddle, Lyla Criddle and Payton Criddle.

We also ask that you practice 6ft social distancing and refrain from personal contact due to Covid- 19 exposure. **.
