He was predeceased by: his parents, Tunney Hayes Pugh and Sarah Melba Bryant Pugh; and his wife Vickie Denise Hardy Pugh. He is survived by: his son Joseph Courtney "Court" Pugh; his grandsons, Joseph McKinley Pugh, Colton Hayes Pugh and Williams Brayden Pugh; his sisters, Cissy Pugh Cox (Bill) and Cindy Pugh Mitchell (Randy); Cynthia Lowrey Pugh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
