We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2025, at the age of 82, Lamar Frazier of New Albany, Mississippi, born in Union County, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lamar departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lamar may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lamar leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Martha Hitchcock and Henry Frazier (Shelia). He is survived by: his wife Janie Gordon Frazier; his siblings, Marie Hutchison, Thomas (Ellen) and Hayes Frazier (Susan); and his grandchildren, J. D. Frazier, Nikki Bullock (Billy), Brittany Marshall and Justin Warren. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and the blessing of a great-great-grandchild.
