She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Dougles and Effie Staton Wingo; her husband Thomas Leo Tate; and her son Thomas Eugene Tate. She is survived by: her children, Betty Williams (Rickey), Bobby Joe Tate (Diane) and John Arthur Tate (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Roger Tate, Angie Rainer (Bob), Kelly McClain (Chris), Joanna Cook (David), Amy Sanders (Jason) and Andrea Parrish (Korey). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
