He was predeceased by: his parent R. V. Manning; his grandparents, Malcolm, Effie Messer Manning, Jess and Edith Stanford Yarbrough; his parent Jean Yarbrough Manning; his in-laws, Roscoe and Lavelle Beard; and his siblings-in-law, Hardin Beard and Joy Beard Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lois; his children, Marianne Manning Lancaster (Cory) and Ray Manning (Melonie); his grandchildren, Mary Alden, Evie Lancaster, Mason, Millie, Ezra and Eden Manning; his sisters, Rheta Street (Ronny) and Karen Callicutt (Jimmy); his sisters-in-law, Andrea Smith (Bob) and Cindy Beard; his siblings' children, Jennifer Childers (Chris), Jay, Christina Callicutt, Melanie Ford Beadles (Todd), Jonathan Smith, Daniel Smith (Sela), Jeremy Beard (Rachel), Cara Beard and Alex Beard (Mille); his great-nephews, Noah Pickering, Lawson Childers and Hardy Ray Beard; and his great-niece Natalie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (1015 Co Rd 59, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
