With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelby Bagwell (New Albany, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2026 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Willis Gregory and Gladys Whitehead Gregory; and her brother Willis Gregory. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Bagwell; her daughter Lisa Anne Bagwell Darling; her brother Bobby Gregory; her grandchildren, Zach Verrell, Les Darling, Dustin Bagwell and Hannah Bagwell; her great grandchildren, Aria Darling, Rosie Darling, Charlee Grace Darling and Ollie Ward Bagwell; her son Anthony Ray Bagwell; her great grandchild Wyatt Darling; and her siblings, Patsy Washington and Wilburn Gregory.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the United Funeral Service. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652).
